Mounting
The EXTURN bow and stern thruster is mounted outside of the hull, ideally (optimal rotation angle and efficiency) on the outermost position of the boat’s bow or stern. It is mounted by one threaded bolt which is designed as a hollow shaft and serves as the cable run. This bolt is supplied with a special pressure-tight sealing which closes the drilled hole automatically and permanently.
An included mounting kit gives EXTURN the required stability, prevents twisting and guaran- tees simple and fast mounting on any boat type. Due to no GRP work (no drying periods!) EXTURN can be mounted within one day.
